JOE SHARKEY and "how to distort" the facts

My GOSH, the beginning of this 'EDITORIAL" is outrageous (check, unfortunately, Joe Sharkey's editorial first making fun of Brazil, then saying that he received direct death threats from Brazilian bloggers!!).

Most of the messages come from angry youngsters who can barely write in English. And OBVIOUSLY nobody there will kill anyone!! "DIRECT DEATH THREATS"??? are you joking or what? You cannot be serious when you state that some of the 170-plus comments have any relationship to the facts related to the accident with Gol and Legacy and how the investigation has been conducted. In what planet do you live? Bushland?? By the way: has it been proved that the Legacy pilots were NOT 'showing off' the aircraft capabilities? Has it been proved that they were not completely illegaly violating safety standards? What about the TCAS?? Has it been proved that it was NOT turned off?? HAS IT BEEN PROVED??? DAVID'S POST says it all!!! Keep writing against Brazil. Keep distoring the facts. The link to your silly blog lasted a few hours. Now you go back to limbo again. Meanwhile, believe or not, Brazilian society is debating this crisis and I am not exception. DO YOU KNOW WHAT caused the accident with TAM two days ago? So, do not make any comments about it. Try to be minimaly professional.

And YES, THE IMAGE OF CARMEM MIRANDA represents Brazil in the US, specially for old people like you. But hey, that's not bad. We are not the ones who spread out hate and blood around the globe. The image of A COWARD like your president and the millions of COWARDS who voted for him, those are the images that represent the United States of America today. And we know very well that that's not MY opinion.

Last but not least: this person called BO. Dude, I am so sorry about your child. I am very sorry for him. It must be very frustrated to have a father like you around. By the way: the chances that your child will be able to attend school without getting killed by one of his colleagues is much better in the 'type of environment' where he lives. The chance he will become someone more aware of the planet and the problems around us is much bigger too! But of course those are irrelevant things for you. And how things are going, the chances he can have better health system is greater too. And I am pretty much sure his country mates will never vote for a mass murderer TWICE. FINALLY, I am totally sure he will become a much better person than you are. That seems obvious based on what you just said.
